Why Celsius?

Celsius is one of the many new popular energy drinks on the market, with approximately 20 flavors. The main reason Celsius stands out from other energy drinks is its ingredients. Celsius provides a healthier option as opposed to the other retail energy drinks on the market because it has 10 calories and 0 grams of sugar, no artificial flavors, contains 0% juice, is gluten-free, and includes vitamins (1.7 milligrams of B2, 20 milligrams of B3, 10 milligrams of B5, 2 milligrams of B6, 6 micrograms of B12, 60 milligrams of C), green tea extract, ginger root, and guarana seed extract. Also, in just a 12 fluid ounce can (355 milliliters), there is 200 milligrams caffeine. With all of these ingredients included, this drink was created to focus on boosting one’s energy and metabolism and burning calories and body fat while also being able to be used as pre-workout.

Why not other popular energy drinks instead?

When thinking of popular energy drinks, Monster and Red Bull immediately come to mind because they are the top-selling brands of energy drinks. Monster and Red Bull have historically been considered the original energy drinks, with Monster having approximately 40 energy flavors and Red Bull having roughly 16 flavors. Monster’s nutritional facts show that a 16 fluid ounce can (473 milliliters) has 230 calories and 54 grams of sugar, uses artificial sweeteners and colors, and includes vitamins (3.6 milligrams of B2, 4.6 milligrams of B3, 4.6 milligrams of B6, 13 micrograms of B12) and 160 milligrams of caffeine. In regards to Red Bull’s nutritional facts, an 8.4 fluid ounce can (250 milliliters) has 110 calories and 27 grams of sugar, uses artificial flavors and colors, has less than 1 gram of protein, and includes vitamins (22 milligrams of B3, 5.05 milligrams of B6, 5.1 micrograms of B12) and 80 milligrams of caffeine.

Overall

It is important to limit the intake of Celsius and other energy drinks because they can have adverse effects on one’s health, such as leading to experiencing heart palpitations, anxiety, and insomnia. While Celsius and other energy drinks have differing amounts of vitamins among them, more caffeine with less additives and calories as well as its variety of unique flavors make it an appealing drink for its primary purpose of providing energy. Nonetheless, when exploring which energy drink to go for, choose the most suitable for your needs.
